To help fight against breast cancer, Sistas of Arizona and Cox Communications have partnered to provide 80 procedures at no cost during October, National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Cox will host mammogram-truck visits at two Cox Solutions Store locations where women can obtain their free mammogram on two dates:

Saturday, October 15, 10 a.m.-3:00 p.m. at the Cox Solutions Store at Bell Towne Center, (Bell Rd. and 7th Street)

Saturday, October 22, 10 a.m. -3:00 p.m. at the Cox Solutions Store (at the Camelback Colonnade, Camelback and 20th Street)

To qualify for a free mammogram, women must be 40 or older, live in Maricopa County, be uninsured or unable to pay high insurance co-pay of over $100, have not had a mammogram within a year and not be eligible for the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). Women must call Assured Imaging Women’s Wellness at 1-888-233-6121 to schedule their appointment in advance.

My name is Maria. I do not know the Thompson family personally however I have been keeping up with their blog.
I have been so touched by this families story and this amazing boy! He has left such an impact on my life and the lives of so many. I swear he took a peice of my hear twith him to heaven. I feel so helpless and sorrowful and I want so badly to show my support to the Thompson family. I by no means have the financial capacity to do what I would like for him but just to show them how many lives have been affected by Ronan will do so much for the family. I wondered if it would be inappropriate for me to try and gather up all of Ronans followers just to show support at the funeral. We do not have to actually go into the service as i would not want to impose but just to get as many supporters as we can wearing shirts embelished with words like “TeamRonan”, “to the moon and back”, etc and just all line the exterior to show our support and thanks to this family. Donations of course can be made but not manadatory. This is a free way to show how many lives Ronan has touched and how we are going to continue to to fight this battle for him!!!
Not sure if you can help me but i would love to do something big to show our support and I know so many other people want to show their support as well. Thank you for your help and if you would like to help me with this I will forever be grateful. 623-707-6362
